Synopsis: Much to Edward’s dismay, his wife Diana is holding another wedding shower. He makes it clear he will not be around to see “the crackling hens gather to gossip and lay a few eggs.” However, Edward’s plan goes awry when he is forced to host the shower in Diana’s absence. The party gets off to a rocky start, but after the ladies loosen up, everything falls into place and they end up having a marvelous time. With its predominantly female cast, made up of roles large and small (for advanced and beginning actors) this hysterical comedy is perfect for high school and community theatres.
