Synopsis: On adjoining front porches, a gentle gardener and his cantankerous neighbor pass the seasons in gentle disagreement while their mischievous pets — an energetic golden retriever and a cynical Siamese cat — secretly plot a backyard alliance. Through stealthily relocated flower pots and a pitcher of ice cold lemonade, the devoted animals manage to melt the ice between their humans. Ultimately, the furry companions successfully prompt an unexpected invitation that reminds their elderly owners that while the clock keeps ticking, it’s never too late to make up for lost time.
