Synopsis: In a series of unfiltered and defiant monologues, a group of “unwanted” shelter dogs steps into the light to deconstruct the broken labels the world has given them. From a protective Chihuahua and a three legged Boxer who’s her own action hero, to a mistreated Pit Bull and a Golden Retriever who thinks his arrival is a hilarious clerical error, these are the sharp and fiercely soulful stories of the lives we leave behind. It’s a moving reminder that we don’t go to shelters to provide a rescue, but to find the only hearts that still know how to stay.
